Massage Modalities
I find that many modalities blend together in a single session to create a unique massage experience. Your neck may need deep tissue while your legs may need Swedish. Your low back may need myofascial release while your shoulder needs improved range of motion.
On the day of your massage we will discuss your specific needs and adjust the session accordingly to ensure you receive the best possible care and treatment using all of the knowledge, modalities, and tools at my disposal.
Therapeutic Treatment Massage
Relief from Pain & TensionTherapeutic massage specifically refers to treating muscle and soft tissue during subacute and chronic stages of injury and pain. This is not a relaxing spa style Swedish massage, but can be extremely effective at reducing pain and improving your ability to complete daily activities.
I use a variety of modalities including pin & stretch, dynamic cupping, contract relax, massage gun and myofascial release to increase range of movement, relax hypertonic muscle "knots", release adhesions, reduce trigger points, and free 'stuck' fascia.
Therapeutic massage is usually not relaxing in the same sense as a Swedish massage, but many patients find the pain reduction and improved mobility to have deeper and longer benefits for their daily lives. Even a single therapeutic session can be extremely effective at relieving pain, restoring pre-injury range of movement, and restoring general body function for activities of daily living and exercise.
“I have never been really comfortable with getting a massage. I had been dealing with some neck and back issues and decided to give Kyle a try. It was the best decision I could have made. He asked a ton of questions and used that information to put together a strategy for my massage therapy. It was a fabulous experience and I left feeling 100% better. I can not recommend Kyle enough. He is a true professional.”

Swedish Massage
Deep Full Body RelaxationSwedish massage is a relaxation massage to let go of the worries, stresses, and burdens of daily life. My Swedish massage incorporates standard Swedish techniques along with Thai stretching and gentle therapeutic techniques to loosen, stretch, and deeply relax your entire body. Swedish massage has great benefits for sleep, stress reduction, and relaxation.
Generally a 1 hour full body Swedish massage will not include therapeutic work in any specific areas, but will aim create deep full body relaxation. If you have significant tension or pain that you would like addressed therapeutically as part of your Swedish massage I recommend booking a 90 minute or 2 hour appointment.
“I have had frequent neck and sciatic nerve pain for years. Kyle has been massaging and stretching the areas to relieve pain. He has provided exercises and stretches to do at home. as well. From where I started, I am very pleased with where I am now. Kyle was very knowledgeable and friendly and was always looking for new ways to help relieve the pain. The friendly atmosphere, professionalism, and attention to progress made my road to recovery much easier and more enjoyable.”
