Illness Precautions:

Massage is, by it's very nature, a close contact setting. I am taking the following precautions to ensure the safety of patients and myself:

  • I am no longer requiring masks, but I do have masks available and I am happy to wear one at your request.
  • Standard massage procedures dictate that the massage table is cleaned between every client and every client receives a clean set of linens.
  • A HEPA air filter is regularly run in the massage room.
  • The forced air system in the house has a 1500 MPR / MERV 12 filter certified to capture dust, mold, pollen, bacteria and viruses.

If you are sick please cancel your session - You will not be charged a cancelation fee for sickness. I look forward to seeing you when you are feeling better.

FAQ

Do you accept insurance?

I do not currently accept insurance however I am working through the processes to accept some insurance carriers in the future. If/when I am in network I will list the carriers here. Massage benefits vary and your plan my or may not include them even if I am in-network.

Can I pay with an HSA or FSA card?

Yes. As Medical Services and Health Practitioner in Washington I am able to accept payments from HSA and FSA cards.

Do I need to take off all my clothes?

No! Your level of undress is entirely up to you, your comfort level and/or your personal boundaries.

I am trained in proper draping techniques to maintain modesty if you choose to be fully disrobed, but you can keep any/all clothes on if you prefer. Massage through clothing can be more difficult and sometimes less effective but your comfort during the massage is more important and necessary for your relaxation.
**Some modalities require direct skin contact on any areas we are working on.

What do I need to do before my massage?

Drink plenty of water on the day of your massage and arrive on time with a specific goal in mind for your massage: relaxation, addressing pain, areas of focus, etc.

What does it cost?

60 min - $90
90 min - $130
120 min - $165

All modalities (massage types) are priced the same. When booking choose the massage type/modality you believe you would like. We can make adjustments on the day of your massage if your needs change.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes! Gift cards can be purchased through my online booking system here: https://atlas-massage.janeapp.com/online_gift_cards

What type of massage do you offer?

I currently offer Swedish massage, treatment/therapeutic massage, sports massage, and chair massage. Learn about these modalities here.

Will massage help my chronic pain / injury recovery / athletic performance / etc?

Yes! Massage is an effective tool for addressing chronic soft tissue issues (muscles and fascia) that cause pain or discomfort, limit range of movement, and hinder athletic (or everyday) movement.

In addition to treating muscles tension and hypertonic tissues I have successfully helped patients with chronic pain, whiplash, tension headaches, migraines, IT band syndrome / contracture, thoracic outlet syndrome, piriformis syndrome / sciatic pain, plantar fasciitis, stiff/sore neck, muscles strains, rotator cuff pain, chronic low back pain, muscle adhesions, TMD / TMJ, and more.
*Results may vary.

Can you do hot stone / Reiki / essential oils / reflexology / etc?

No, but I may add these or other modalities through continuing education in the future.
