Kyle Bisch, LMT
After using my B.A. in Philosophy to do everything from salmon fishing in Alaska to web development, I studied at Bodymechanics Myotherapy & Massage School in Vancouver, WA to learn therapeutic massage and become a licensed massage therapist in Washington.
My massage style is treatment focused, with every session revolving around the goals of my clients. Whether I'm treating daily stress with a Swedish massage or a chronic injury with deep tissue, I use massage to create physical changes in soft tissues, encouraging relaxation, healing, and recovery.
Massage has been a logical extension of the 26 years I have pursued endurance sports and learning about human body movement and recovery. After swimming competitively for ~11 years and dabbling in triathlons at the Coeur d'Alene Ironman, I eventually settled on my current passion for ultra-trail running. Treating my own past injuries has opened my eyes to the benefits and effectiveness of massage for athletes as well as treating the chronic pain and discomfort that many people carry with them.
When not working I'm living life with my wife of 16 years and three children, training in local neighborhoods, or trail running in the beautiful pacific northwest mountains.
